JUDGING: Each school is responsible for furnishing competent judges in each event in which they participate; for geographic diversity, we believe it is important that most judges be provided by the schools attending. School judges are expected to adjudicate in both preliminary and elimination rounds. Varsity debaters not participating in the competition may judge in the novice divisions. If schools cannot provide all their required judges, a few hired judges are available for a fee. Hired judges must be requested before January 8, 2008. None will be available after that date. You will be asked to provide names of judges and the events they will judge on the confirmation forms.
